Shul packed for lovers

NEWTON MEARNS Synagogue was packed to the rafters as Lisa Hyman married Anthony Eskinazi.

Family and friends attended from across the world to celebrate the special day.

Lisa's sister Melanie was best maid and Elliot Cowan was Anthony's best man.

His sisters Michelle and Natalie and cousin Lorrelle were bridesmaids. Pageboys were Lisa's two nephews Matthew and Joel.

Lisa is the daughter of Harvey and June Hyman, while Anthony is the son of Joe and Susan Eskinazi.

Grandparents Estelle and Stanley Orchant, Rhoda and Irving Hyman, and Sylvia Eskinazi and Esther Leifman joined in the celebrations.

Lisa is a graduate recruitment officer at a leading law firm while Anthony founded the website parkatmyhouse.com.

The couple have settled in north London.


Channa meets husband through colleague

CHANNA Shuell was introduced to Jeremy Schwartz through a work colleague.

And four months later they were married in Prestwich by Rabbi Arnold Saunders.

Channa, a teaching assistant at Torah Tots Integrated Nursery, is the daughter of Sue and Les Shuell, of Salford, while Jeremy, who owns Getzels Groceries in Prestwich, is the son of Meeda Schwartz, of Prestwich, and the late Kurt Schwartz.

Best man was the groom's brother Lippa Schwartz.

Bridesmaids were the bride's sisters Yael and Lauren Shuell and flowergirls were Simmy Wolberg, Chana Jaffe and Rosie Jaffe.

Pageboy was the bride's nephew Enzo Shuell.

The couple will honeymoon later in the summer.
