JOANNE Samuels of Cheshire is trying to trace a comedy double act of the late 1960's called Sorrel and Sorrel.

She believes one of the comedians was named Sorrel Price who lived in Blackpool and moved to Alexandra Road, South Manchester in July 1962.

ADRIAN Cowen of Burton on Trent would like to hear from anyone who remembers the music hall singer Maisey Brookes - his great-grandmother.

Adrian's grandmother, Leah was married to Harry Cohen who met her in Leicester. They are buried in Newcastle.

Leah's mother was Maisey, while Harry's mother used to run a boarding house in Leicester. They moved to Leeds and had two sons, Lionel and Adrian's father Cecil.

CANADIAN Sonia Green would like to hear from anyone who knew Solomon and Sarah Fox of Mary Street and Nightingale Street, Cheetham, Manchester.

The couple, who had nine children, lived there between the late 1890s and 1930.

Solomon and his parents arrived in Leeds from Russia around September 1891.
