Requirement for indoors masks ends

THE requirement to wear masks indoors in Israel will be dropped on Tuesday... as long as the morbidity figures remain low.

“We did not expect to reach this reality at this point,” said Health Minister Yuli Edelstein.

“It is amazing that numbers are plummeting while the economy is fully operational.”

The minister denounced violence against medical staff carried out by people who oppose vaccines.

He also promised that the ministry will work to maintain the 600 new doctors that were hired to strengthen the health system in the fight against the pandemic.
