Debbie, the daughter of Lucille and Leon Phillips, of Whitefield, is a student at David Yellin College, where she is studying special education for severely disabled children.

Aviel, the son of Yehudit and Shlomo Ben Ami, of Efrat, works in security.

Bridesmaids were the bride's sisters Rachel Shafar and Hannah Phillips, as well as Lisa Jacobs, Jessica Borkin, Lidor Tamir and Moria Ben Ami.

Among the guests were Debbie's brother Adam and grandparents Valerie and Harold Saffer, of Leeds.

Aviel's brothers, Daniel, Netanel and Ariel, and his grandparents Yehuda Klopfer and Janet Ben Ami also joined in the celebrations.
