LES Goulden will be flying home to Blackpool on Sunday after a 48-year absence.
Les, who now lives in Los Altos, California, left England in 1951 after celebrating his barmitzvah.
His family settled in Vancouver, Canada, later moving to America.
Les will be spending six days in Blackpool looking up old friends before travelling to Leeds and Shipley to find his Yorkshire relatives.

WILLIAM Dean-Myatt of Walsall has a musical request. For a research degree at Caledonian University of Glasgow he is looking into the ‘Role of Beltona Gramophone Records in Scottish Popular Culture’.
The company ran from 1923 to 1975 and issued more than 3,000 records.
William is particularly interested in uncovering the biographies of three Jewish artists — Cantor S Kusevitsky, Ike Freedman and Eddie Sarafin.
Cantor Kusevitsky recorded four titles in late 1933, while Ike Freedman was born in the Gorbals. In 1932 he recorded six titles for the label of comic songs with a Jewish emphasis. Sarafin was born in Glasgow but had Polish/Lithuanian roots.

He had a brother named Yakov and a sister named Chaya Toibe. Ben-Zion, who may have been born in Jerusalem, lived in England between 1880-1940.
