From an ambitious child enchanted by the magic of the stage to a successful actor, producer, casting director and agent, her career has spanned multiple creative disciplines.

And known for her sharp wit, she has left an indelible mark on the industry.

Perhaps best known in recent years as a talent agent, she runs Esta Charkham Associates from her base in London.

But she is returning to her acting roots on February 16 (7.30pm), when the JW3 Jewish community centre in the capital hosts an evening celebrating the playwright Bernard Kops.
