Dean hopes his book will answer all the questions

LONDON School of Jewish Studies dean Rabbi Dr Raphael Zarum gained a PhD in quantum chaos theory at Kings College, London, with a view to becoming a scientist.

But his academic supervisors thought differently.

He told the Jewish Telegraph: “When I submitted papers for my PhD, the feedback was that this person should teach physics. I was told that I was a great teacher.

“When I was told that I’m a great teacher, I preferred to teach Torah.”

He also completed an MA in Adult Education, with distinction, at the Institute of Education in London.
